We welcome you to join our chorus! The first three Mondays of each semester are "Open Rehearsals." During this time, you have the opportunity to join us and decide if you would like to stay with the chorus. Auditions aren't required to join the chorus. While the ability to read music is a plus, it also isn't required. (And you won't be alone if you can't sight read, so not to worry!)

Typically, open rehearsals take place on the first three Mondays following Labor Day Weekend and the first three Mondays following the New Year. The dates for the next open rehearsals in 2023 are: January 9, January 16, and January 23. Rehearsals take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the St. James United Methodist Church in Kingston, NY.

Once you decide to join, you will be asked to pay $30 dues per "semester." These dues go towards the cost of music, our rehearsal space, and the small stipends that are granted to our directors and accompanists. Scholarships for dues are available, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
